Magician Dan Jordan credits the start of his performance experience to a Unicycle! At a time when Dan was young and still learning to ride a bike without training wheels, his parents took him to see a Circus. Young Dan enjoyed the Circus, the animals, and the Clowns but was totally enthralled with the man on the bike with one wheel. So, young Dan asked Santa for a unicycle for Christmas and received one. Putting aside his bike and training wheels, he began to learn how to ride the Unicycle. Within a week Dan had mastered the Unicycle and could ride forwards, backwards, and do stunts! All these Unicycle skills impressed his family and friends and earned Dan his first applause! From there Dan moved to new entertainment heights. He saved his money and bought a 6’ Unicycle. He would ride the new giraffe cycle miles to the local grocery store. His mom would send him there to buy some milk and eggs, trusting his new found unicycle talent. All the way there and back people would drive by honking and waving their approval of such a unique sight.

Encouraged by all the attention, Dan set out to learn other forms of entertainment. He learned to juggle, balance, and perform magic tricks. Dan practiced long and hard to develop these performance skills.

Some of Dan’s first magic shows were to a built in audience of children at his mothers in-home day care. As Dan grew in age, he continued to develop his act, performing for neighbors and friends. He would take any money he made from the shows and invest it into magic tricks and magic lessons.

After graduating from High School, Dan went to College and then set out on a career path in Law Enforcement. Jumping ahead to a time when Dan is married with two children. Dan and his wife took their kids to a friends Birthday party for a 5 year old child. The entertainment for the party was a Clown. The Clown showed up late, was rude to the children, and was a terrible performer. Dan knew that with all his experience performing magic, juggling, unicycling, and balancing that he could do a better job than the inept Clown. At that moment Dan decided to start his own entertainment business. The company he started was called "3RING ENTERTAINMENT," the title is dedicated to Dan’s Circus experience that started it all.

Dan’s entertainment business grew from costume characters for birthday parties to full stage Illusion shows for Corporations. Some of the Illusion shows included producing the show, hiring other acts, starring in the show, and Emceeing the production.

Along the way Dan has taken the time to further develop his performing skills. He has attended and received a certificate of achievement in the "Art of Magic" from California State University Northridge. The course was lengthy and the classes covered such subjects as magic tricks, showmanship, and performance. Dan has also attended acting and dancing classes, magic workshops and conventions. In addition Dan has been an active member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians, and has served as President of the local chapter "Ring 280 - The Mark Wilson Ring."

Dan has also developed many different acts which include Illusion shows, a mind reading act, and close-up magic. He also has invented a few magic tricks. Plus he has been teaching magic one-on-one or in groups for many years too! Based on all his years of performing children’s and family, shows Dan wrote a book called "All About Magic Shows For Kids" and has spent the last few years lecturing to other magic clubs on the subject. The lecture series commenced at the world famous Magic Castle in Hollywood, where Dan is also a magician member and performer!

Dan loves being an entertainer, combining his enthusiasm for life and stage into his performance.
