  Dan has been entertaining family audiences with his unicycling, juggling, and magic for many, many years. Because of his vast experience in performing for family audiences, he decided to start lecturing to share his knowledge with other magicians. His lecture tour started at the world famous "Magic Castle" in Hollywood, California, with his "ALL ABOUT MAGIC SHOWS FOR KIDS" lecture. The lecture was given to a full house of magicians and was a grand success! Since then Dan has lectured many times across the United States, each time to a good size audience, thus proving that there is a need for this information on family entertainment. Dan's lecture is set up to be a pure lecture and not an infomercial for magic tricks.

1. Building a Better Birthday Party - "Professional Customer Service" by Dan Jordan

   You will learn the techniques to gain control of the audience, understand and handle problems with children and adult audience members. Dan will also explain different methods on how to handle problems with volunteers on stage.
3. "All About Magic Shows for Kids"- Creating a Magic Show - by Dan Jordan
   Professional Magician Dan Jordan will teach you his methods to creating a Magic show from entrance to exit. In the process you will learn the right magic tricks to perform and the tricks not to do. Dan will also share his formula for making the magic more entertaining and memorable!
4. "The Top 10 Secrets Every Family Entertainer Should Know" - by Dan Jordan
   Learn the trade secrets of a professional family entertainer of over two decades, Dan Jordan. Dan will share his inside secrets of family entertainment and will teach you valuable ideas on how to increase your birthday party business, appear more professional, and increase your tips!

** Each lecture is about two hours long, cumulating with a question and answer period with Dan on any topic relating to magic shows for kids.

He started by setting up the backdrop he uses, then came the table (which keeps everything out of sight) followed by the lecture. For this he had an easel which contained the parts of the lecture he would talk about. Dan is a kid's entertainer and you could see by the lecture he really enjoys doing kid shows, not that he is not doing adult shows too.
