3RING ENTERTAINMENT is proud to present the variety magic shows of Dan Jordan. Dan specializes in children’s and family magic shows. Dan has always loved children and has two young kids of his own (Justin and Alison.) Long ago Dan found out he had a special talent for entertaining children. To capture the imagination and attention of children requires a special talent that not all magicians possess or understand. Dan has developed his talent to such a high degree that other magicians and magic groups have hired him to lecture on the subject. His lecture is entitled "All About Magic Shows For Kids."

Dan Jordan’s philosophy for entertaining at children’s shows:

• All tricks, jokes, and stories must be age appropriate.
• No rude or crude behavior or speech.
  As Red Skelton said, "Do every show like your Mother and a Nun are in the front row."
• Do no embarrass anyone including magic show helpers.
• No fire or danger tricks.
• Treat the children with respect.

Costume Characters:

• Stomper the Clown - a friendly hobo type clown
• Deputy Dan - an oversized lovable cowboy
• Magic Wizard - a Merlin type magician
• Dan the Magic Man -
  • Children’s version - a combination of the clown and magician costume
  • Standard Magi - Tuxedo or black slacks stage costume

Pre-show entertainment:

  • Magically producing the Birthday child at the start of the show!

Post Production:

• An opportunity for the children to have their picture taken with Dan and his Magic Rabbit.
• Picture Board -
  • Deputy Dan’s picture board is a jail scene. Kids or adults can put their hands and face in specially cut out holes and appear to be in a jail.
  • Stomper the Clown’s picture board is a painting of a clown juggling some balls. The children can put their hands and face in the specially cut out holes, then Stomper will place a clown nose on them for some silly pictures.
• Organize the children around the cake for the singing of "Happy Birthday."

• Parachute

Party favors:

• 8 x 10 coloring pictures of either "Dan the Magic Man" or "Stomper the Clown."
• A box of crayons for each child.
